Class Types

All the classes at Sweetbay Yoga are taught by long-time yoga practitioners. Sweetbay’s teaching is inspired by the many yoga and wellness paths we’ve followed, and all of us have years of Iyengar practice as the undercurrent to everything we’ve pursued. This beginner-friendly class invites the “undoing”, the letting go, the unraveling of tension in body, breath, mind and heart.

This intro level is all about proper form in all the basic asanas, or yoga poses. Level 1 teaches how to get the maximum benefit of each pose.

This new class is great way to address osteoporosis and rebuild strength at your own pace.

This mid-level class goes deeper into the purpose behind each pose. Introducing new ways to take on inversions and deepen your curiosity for your practice.

Switch it up with this mixed levels class. A great place to see where you are, and to receive further support.

At this stage, it’s about learning, re-learning, re-integrating, going back through the levels and layers to see what can be bolstered, what can be deepened.

Get your morning started with this one-hour early morning practice to get your body moving.

Perfect for more experienced practitioners looking to deepen their practice, but all levels are welcomed.

Gentle Yoga

Anyone can do yoga! This kid’s class introduces fun, yet mindful poses to students ages 5+.

A monthly intensive program to deepen your practice.

Ideal for students who are looking for a slower-paced, beginner-friendly, recovery-focused class.
