Yoga makes me slow down and feel more connected to my higher self; it's a tool for me to be more aware and appreciative of the present and of all beings. I love starting the day practicing yoga, I feel ready for everything. Or in the evening, it keeps me grounded and gives balance and harmony to my body, mind and spirit. I mainly practice Vinyasa and also love learning other modalities of yoga like Iyengar, Kundalini, Kirtan or Yoga Nidra.
Why I Practice
I love being of service to others and holding space for a slow flow practice connecting asanas to breaths to still our minds, bring kind movement to our bodies and hopefully make our souls smile. Yoga can be a deep healing tool, a place of joy, connection and self-discovery. I am from Mexico and currently learning about Mayan healing techniques, as well as Ayurveda and yoga for fertility and I look forward to share it all with Sweetbay community.
